The bottom ring is TPR, a softer and more elastic rubber compound than plain pads, so it holds on hard floors and carpet and keeps your sofa, table or washing machine from sliding out of place.
【Stackable to 1.1, 2.3 or 3.5 Inch 】Use one ring for about 1.1 inch of lift, snap two together for 2.3 inch, or three for 3.5 inch. That is enough clearance to slide a robot vacuum under the couch, bring a low chair up to a comfortable sitting height, or level a washer and dryer on an uneven floor. For safety, we do not recommend stacking beyond 3.5 inch.
